Credentials

In 1975, I began as an Addiction Counselor at Roosevelt Hospital in New York City. The following year, having completed additional training and education, I moved to Beth Israel Medical Center, where I served as an Alcoholism Counselor from 1976 until 1983.

The move to Beth Israel was instrumental in furthering my training, as it allowed direct interaction with several doctors who were very successful in the treatment of addiction. Not only did this provide me with mentorship and case supervision, but also the opportunity for indepth study of addiction’s related disorders, such as depression, anxiety, guilt, and anger.

I have maintained these relationships with top medical professionals to this day.

Now in private practice since 1982, through the years I have continued my education for the treatment of addictions with programs at Harvard Medical School, The Cambridge Hospital, The Caron Foundation, and Renaissance Institute… all recognized leaders in the field of drug addiction and medical intervention. Please review the testimonials from leading doctors and treatment experts.

Over the course of my career, I have received the following certifications:

Certified Addictions Specialist (CAS).
National Certified Addiction Counselor II (NCAC II).
Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC).
Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor I (LADC I).

And I am a member of:

American Counseling Association.
American Mental Health Counselors Association.

Most importantly, since 1982 I have successfully treated over nine thousand patients through crisis intervention and addiction therapy. If you haven’t already done so, please take a moment to look at their results; then give me a call and we will talk about options that will work for you.
